Description
Retinox Capsule a health supplement that is used to maintain good eye health and proper functioning of the retina. It contains zeaxanthin, lutein, astaxanthin and omega 3 fatty acids as active ingredients that helps to enhance overall functioning of the eyes.
Zeaxanthin is one of only two carotenoids found in the human eye, where it plays an essential role in vision and eye health, as well as helps reduce the risk of eye disease. Astaxanthin exerts strong antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antiapoptotic activities.
Lutein improves or even prevents age-related macular disease which is the leading cause of blindness and vision impairment. Omega 3 fatty acids influence the biophysical properties of membranes and may help to create a membrane that accommodates the dynamic behaviour of rhodopsin (a protein found in retina) during the photoreceptive process.
