Description
Aqualube PM Eye Gel is used to treat dry eye conditions. It may also be useful for people suffering from recurrent corneal epithelial erosion. A dry eye is a common condition that occurs when the tears are unable to provide adequate lubrication for the eyes.
Aqualube PM Eye Gel contains liquid paraffin and white soft paraffin that moistens, soothes, and lubricates the eye surface. Thereby providing relief from symptoms of dry eyes such as soreness, gritty sensation, and irritation. It may be used as adjunctive therapy to lubricate and protect the eye in conditions such as decreased corneal sensitivity, exposure keratitis (damage to the cornea due to dryness), keratitis sicca (dry eyes), recurrent corneal erosions, and ophthalmic surgery.
Directions for Use:
Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Squeeze a tiny amount of the gel/ointment into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.
