Description
Nestle Peptamen Junior is a peptide based enteral formula for the dietary management of children aged 2-10 years with impaired gastrointestinal (GI) functions. It is suitable for oral and tube feeding. This product contains MCT (Medium Chain Triglycerides) and 100% Hydrolyzed Whey Protein as peptides. MCT and Whey Peptides are known to help improve tolerance and absorption in children with impaired GI functions.
Ingredients:
Maltodextrin, Hydrolyzed whey protein (milk) (16.6%), Oil mix (Medium chain triglycerides oil, Low erucic rapeseed oil, Sunflower oil, Antioxidant (304), Sequestrant (330)), Sugar, Potato starch Minerals (Calcium carbonate, Magnesium chloride, Sodium chloride, Calcium chloride, Ferrous sulphate, Zinc sulphate, Manganese sulphate, Cupric sulphate, Potassium iodide, Chromium (III) chloride, Sodium selenate, Sodium molybdate), Acidity regulator (525, 338, 330, 524), Emulsifier (Soya lecithin), Glucose syrup, Choline hydrogen tartrate, Vitamins (Sodium-L- ascorbate, DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, Nicotinamide, Calcium D-Pantothenate, Pyridoxine hydrochloride, Thiamine mononitrate, Riboflavin, Retinyl acetate, Cyanocobalamine, Folic acid, Phytomenadione, D-Biotin, Cholecalciferol), Taurine and L- Carnitine.
Directions for Use:
Step 1: Wash your hands. Use clean utensils.
Step 2: Sterilize utensils including the feeding spoon and bowl.
Step 3: Boil drinking water for 5 minutes and leave it till lukewarm.
Step 4: Pour the exact amount of lukewarm water as per feeding table.
Step 5: Consult the feeding table and add exactly number of leveled scoops for the age of a baby. Only use the scoop provided. Shake/mix to dissolve powder.
Step 6: Feed the baby with a bowl and spoon. Discard leftover feed.
