Description
Mucopain Gel is used as local anesthesia to numb the tissues in a specific area. It is used for short term to relieve pain from minor mouth problems such as toothache, mouth ulcers, sore gums, or mouth/gum injury.
Mechanism of Action :
Mucopain Gel is an oral anesthetic agent. It works by blocking nerve signals that are responsible for pain sensation. It is generally very safe, works quite quickly and will reduce the pain and discomfort that might be caused by sore throat and mouth sores. This medicine is not recommended for use in children less than 5 years of age.
Composition 😕Benzocaine (20% w/w).
Common side effects :
- Application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching and redness)
Dose : Apply Mucopain Gel to the affected area of the mouth or gums. Make sure to wash your hands before and after using this medicine. As directed by physician.
